  2. This would have to be the wettest I've seen our area..seriously soggy here. Liking your Chinese laundry..much classier than ours - you have coathangers....coat hangers!. :)

    1. I think so too, the wettest ever! Coat hangers, the Chinese laundry's best friend - you know it sounds terribly racist to say that when I think about it. Like the Chinese are the only ones trying to get their clothes dry anyway they can.

  3. I don't know why but I love the rain. The sound and smells that accompany it. The only problem is that I want my rain at night to soothe me to sleep. We went through months of dryness only to have rain nearly every day for almost two weeks, not as much as you've had though. I love the clothes dryer, It must work well with the stove to help. Mine doesn't dry as well now that I don't have a stove or forced air heat.

In the spring, at the end of the day, you should smell like dirt.
Margaret Atwood

“She turned to the sunlight
And shook her yellow head,
And whispered to her neighbour:
"Winter is dead.”
