Dry Biscuits and Fetta

You think you have biscuits to have with cheese, then you take a bite and they're tough as nails.
Did you know that you can improve stale biscuits by giving them a quick zap in the microwave? A small revelation. Just let them cool and the crunch returns. Has worked on three types of biscuits I've tried so far. Careful not to overdo them - maybe 20 seconds depending on your microwave and quantity of biscuits. My inner Nanna just hates throwing things away.

I cannot stop eating them with this stuff, soooo good! Also good on toast, with pasta, in sandwiches, on salad.... Even when all the cheese is gone we drizzle the oil on everything.

  1. Yum! I love Persian feta too. Mum used to always crisp up stale biscuits in the oven. Although there were many times when she would forget them and they would end up in the bin anyway because they were burnt!

  2. Loving both biscuits and feta, I should try to combine the two. I'm not sure though that I can find the Persian one, I'm sure it's nice.
    Your little butterfly-girl is adorable!
Wishing you all a lovely weekend, Kirsty!

In the spring, at the end of the day, you should smell like dirt.

And shook her yellow head,
And whispered to her neighbour:
"Winter is dead.”
