Thankyou Horus, Surya, Ra, Tonatiuh, Sol, Helios, Taiyang Shen ....

Grateful for a short holiday by the beach. Three nights feels like two weeks. Thankyou sun for all your kindness. Don't let those cloudy photos fool you, they passed over with little more than a shower. The Aztecs, Egyptians, Pagans, Buddhists, Hindus, Africans, Indonesians, Chinese... really  had it sussed with the whole sun worshipping thing. Some warm rays after an early Autumn chill was just what my bones/brain needed, even if my freckly white skin is a little wary. There was even some swimming! well waist high paddling anyway.  Even better, on returning home, my garden had been lapping up the solar delights and filling itself with produce. All hail the sun god.

More holiday pics to come, I am a terrible whittler.

In the spring, at the end of the day, you should smell like dirt.

And shook her yellow head,
And whispered to her neighbour:
"Winter is dead.”
