LA PRIMAVERA: A SWISS ITALIAN CELEBRATION

A beautiful visit to Lavandula La Primavera Festival. Lavender lemonade, lavender scones, lavender in the air.  Sipping wine, eating and catching up with good friends. Highlight for the Bowerbird kids was patting the donkey and the emu. I never knew emus could be so fond of a good scratch. Finally a trip to Hepburn Springs for a beautiful lantern parade and fireworks finale. Little one cried at all the noise but bigger ones loved it.

  2. Ahh! Sausage making and basket weaving!! You lucky duck. I love the feathery basket offering. Looks like it was a fabulously fun family day out (say that 6 times, fast!). xx

In the spring, at the end of the day, you should smell like dirt.
Margaret Atwood

“She turned to the sunlight
And shook her yellow head,
And whispered to her neighbour:
"Winter is dead.”
